With more than 900,000 copies sold, Johnny Hallyday's latest album MA VERITE is powered triple platinum disc. This album is the fruit of meetings, writing around themes that have touched and upset in recent months.
MA VERITE marks a return to a very rock musical color, but also leaves room for great sentimental songs, superbly arranged by Pierre Jaconelli, and played by the musicians of Robbie Williams.
Several collaborations gave birth to this new album: the first single, My religion in his glance, is composed by the group Kyo who got along perfectly with Johnny despite the gap of generation. Then, Johnny rubs on hip-hop, with the band Minister Amer, for an astonishing and moving title: Time goes by. Under the title Peace, his friend Zazie wrote him a text that expresses a genuine cry of the heart masterfully interpreted. A real focus of the artist is illustrated by the rock that does not kill rocker makes us stronger, Guy Carlier. At the request of Johnny, Muriel Robin wrote She does not care, witnessing the arrival of his daughter Jade. Johnny himself closes this album by signing with his old accomplice and friend Michel Mallory the title Learn to love.
